The 2024 Annual TALA Conference and Industry Expo (#tala2024) will include some changes to continue to build value and excitement for attendees, exhibitors, and speakers.

First, you may have noticed the name change: TALA decided to make the former “Trade Show” into the “Industry Expo.” This name change reflects the significance and involvement of TALA’s incredible Industry Partners in the Industry Expo. TALA is extremely grateful for your continued support.

This year’s conference will feature a new app that has a simpler user interface and much easier usability to manage your personal conference schedule, find helpful floorplans, stay up to date on all conference events, explore the Industry Expo exhibitors, and learn about conference speakers. Also new in this app is a live event feed, including a social-media-style experience where attendees can post in the Event Space, upload photos, and react or comment on posts and join the conversation.

Lastly, and perhaps the biggest change this year, is that the location of #tala2024 which will be hosted at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa, in San Antonio, Texas. The conference will stay in a central Texas location with the added bonus of being easily accessible for those driving or flying in. The Hyatt Hill Country is a stunning, sprawling hotel and event center, and will be a lovely location for 2024.

Lastly, each year, TALA comes up with a fun theme to make the event even more enjoyable. This year’s #tala2024 will feature the theme “Waltz Across Texas with Assisted Living.” Inspired by the classic song, this year’s theme will pay homage to Texas music (and the Hyatt Hill Country aesthetic fits nicely with this year’s theme). Follow along for conference and industry expo updates using the official hashtags #tala2024 and #waltzwithtala on social media and on TALA’s website.
