Keynote RFP is Open! 
Texas Assisted Living Association invites you to submit a Keynote speaker proposal for the 2027 TALACon: Conference, Convention, Connection, at The Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas, April 7-9. The 2027 Opening Keynote is scheduled for a 90-minute timeslot the morning of Thursday, April 8th followed by a 60-minute breakout session. The Closing Keynote is scheduled for a 60 minute Proposals should be both engaging and relevant to our audience of professionals in the Assisted Living industry. The deadline to submit is October 4th by 11:45pm.
Submission Requirements
- Proposed Session Title
- Proposed Session Description (250 words minimum)
- Three Learning Objectives for your Session
- Speaker Background Information including: Biography, Educational History, and Two Professional References
- Speaker Fee(s)
Dates & Deadlines
- Call for proposals open – August 10, 2026
- Deadline to submit proposals – October 4, 2026
- Acceptance / denial emails sent – by November 20, 2026
TALA's Conference and Industry Expo is now TALACon
TALA is excited to re-brand the Annual Conference and Industry Expo as TALACon. The elements that make TALA's annual event notable are the education (the conference), meeting over shared interests (convention), and the relationships between industry friends and acquaintances, both old and new (connection). While TALA is bringing these shared elements together - with lots of alliteration - under a new name, you can expect the same dedication to bringing you compelling information, forums for productive conversations, and entertaining events.
