TALA Survey Results: The Future Of Recruiting

Survey results share insights into the future path of recruiting

The Future of Recruiting TALA Workforce Development Committee workgroup was tasked with surveying senior living professionals to compile a list of best recruitment platforms used in today’s environment along with best applicant engagement practices. 

A survey was completed in July of 2021 with 78 senior living professional respondents. The survey revealed insights into the future path of recruiting.

Staffing Challenges Related To The Pandemic

Communities across the industry are experiencing added staffing pains related to the pandemic. In a recently published white paper by OnShift titled, Survey Report Workforce 360, over 2100 senior living professionals were surveyed. A 22% year over year increase use of staffing agency was reported to fill critical shifts. Many surveyed noted the increase use of agency is a direct response to pandemic related needs.
