This course provides an in-depth exploration of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs), focusing on the latest research and findings. Participants will review common MDROs prevalent in assisted living and other long-term care settings, where these organisms pose significant challenges due to the vulnerable population and frequent use of antibiotics. The course will also examine current trends in the prevention and mitigation of MDROs.
