Assisted Living Home Administrator

The Collinfield House is a residential care home dedicated to providing unparalleled assisted living care. Our friendly and enthusiastic caregivers are engaged in the health and happiness of our residents, offering interactive and enriching activities throughout the day including memory care, gardening, a book club, arts and crafts, devotionals, daily exercise and homemade meals.

Responsibilities and Duties

Core Duties:

  • Ensuring the highest quality of compassionate care for the elderly residents; ensure family satisfaction
  • Day-to-day operations including scheduling, budget management, staff management / team building,
  • Exceed the expectations of our residents and their families.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure state compliance at all times in all areas with all state regulations of Texas; follow all license renewal processes; make sure all policies and procedures and contracts are on site as set forth by state regulations; apply quality assurance according to state regulations; ensure that caregivers and managers completely document compliance with service plans, or any deviations from the plan, as well as any incidents in the home
  • Be available on an "on call" basis
  • Prepare all continuing education for caregiver managers to train caregivers - make sure business office has documentation of such in-services for state requirements
  • Assist in holiday, birthday and anniversary celebrations
  • Assist in management of all duties as defined in caregiver manager and nurse job descriptions (i.e. medication refills sent and received in a timely manner, transportation arranged for resident outings and appointments, menus and activities calendars executed, etc.)
  • Take inquiry calls and give tours of property; interview families, assess prospective residents
  • Make all arrangements for move in (including room ready and coordination with staff: caregiver manager and nurse to have medications and supplies ready)
  • Network and maintain relationships for resident referrals; determine appropriate advertising within budget

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must meet state requirements for eligibility for Assisted Living Manager License or carry current Assisted Living Manager License
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working as an Administrator, Managing Nurse or Business Manager (including HR duties) in a licensed RCH or Assisted Living
  • Must have 2 years experience managing at least 2 employees with positive retention rate
  • Must have a clear criminal history


  • Company subsidizes half the amount of the current group insurance plan in place, up to $150 per month (if employee elects to participate)
  • Employee will also receive up to $100 per month of mileage stipend
  • Bonus plan of up to $2000/year if goals achieved
  • Paid holidays and PTO/vacation pay
